AMCA Logo

LTA’s Active Mobility Community Ambassadors (AMCA) play a significant role in promoting the gracious sharing of public paths, and the safe and responsible use of active mobility devices.

Previously known as the Active Mobility Patrol (AMP), AMCA have been engaging and educating all path users safe path-sharing practices since 2016. Today, there are more than 60 AMCA teams across Singapore advocating for active mobility via community walkabouts and other outreach initiatives.

Want to be a part of the Active Mobility Community Ambassadors?

If you are interested to be a part of the AMCA community and promote a safe and gracious active mobility culture, register your interest via this sign-up form.

We will then get in touch with you on the next steps. There are opportunities to conduct outreach in your neighbourhoods or where you frequent, depending on your interest.

AMCA volunteers:

  • Help to conduct outreach to promote a safe and gracious culture.
  • Will be briefed on rules and code of conduct for safe and gracious behaviours on our paths.
  • Are expected to be role models and to carry out their volunteer duties in a responsible and safe manner.
  • Should preferably be at least 18 years old. Those under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.

If you are signing up as an individual volunteer, we may connect you with existing AMCA teams or like-minded groups for outreach activities.

If you are part of an interest group and organisation, we will work with you to provide relevant training such that the interest group/organisation can self-organise outreach activities regularly.
