Night at the Library 2021

Night at the Library 2021

NS
Collection by National Library Board Singapore

The Night at the Library is an annual event, currently in its 4th year. After having scared the wits out of attendees the previous years with our horror theme in 2018-2019, took a respite from the morbidity of 2020 with dark humour and comedy, Night at the Library is back with a new spin. It hopes to bring to the fore of difficult conversations in life and imagination, as the world continues to grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic, its challenges and living in new normal. Bringing writers who explore supernatural in literature and as cultural phenomenon, to professionals who encounter mortality in the fields of funeral planning and end of life care, Night at the Library will confront the uncertainties of reality and horrors that keep us awake at night.
